The Goa International Marine & Boat Expo 10 will be a world class event in Goa, India’s Leisure capital and playground of India’s rich and famous. The event will showcase leisure boats from Goan, Indian and International companies, together with the latest innovations in marine equipment, supplies and services. The expo is planned to be not just a leisure boating and marine exhibition, but more of a networking hub that will connect quality enthusiast buyers to marine driven suppliers.
Last year, some of the participants for Goa International Marine and Boat Expo 09 were some of the world’s best brands; like Ferretti, Sea Ray, Monterey, Fairline, Regal, Walkerbay, Sea Royal, Sun Marine, Majesty, Oryx, Silver Craft, Grand Soleil, Nautitech, Viking Yachts, Kaiyan, Princess, Sealine, Four Winns, Blade Runner, Fountain Pajot, Capelli, Arcoa, Yamaha, Mercury, Kawasaki, Feefree Kayaks, Peterlynn Kites and Eclipe Kites. The Government sector was also well represented at the Expo, with the participation of Goa Shipyard Ltd. (Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India) the leading certified shipyard on the West Coast; Mormugao Port Trust, (Ministry of Shipping Govt. of India), thhe biggest port in Goa and one of the major ports of the country. The Private Sector Shipyards like Dempo Shipbuilding & Engineering, Sea Scan Marine also participated, thereby having an equal representation from the public and private sector.The Defense Sector of India was represented by the Indian Navy and Coast Guard.
Thus, the expo is a platform for industry and trade players to intermingle, build business relationships through networking, while getting updated with the emerging trends in the marine trade industry.
