GIMBE returns for the fourth year in the city of Panaji from 14-16 December, 2012. Leisure boating has slowly and steadily gathered pace, not only amongst Goans but tourists as well. The Goa International Marine & Boat Expo is supported strongly by the government of Goa and is gearing up for an increase of visitors expected this year. The organizers, Media Promotions Ltd are looking forward to hosting an expo of international standards by showcasing major national and international brands in boating.
With its extensive and popular coast line and numerous backwaters intersecting the state, Goa’s strong bond with water and a history of seafarers makes it an almost perfect boating destination. Power boats, coastal cruisers & luxury yachts, sports boats, water sports equipment like kites, kayaks & canoes, ports & ship builders, marine accessories & equipment, docks & pontoon systems, hovercrafts & pedal boats and luxury as well as lifestyle products will be exhibited at the Goa International Marine & Boat Expo this year.
The Goa International Marine & Boat Expo 2012 is one of the premier lifestyle events in Goa’s calendar and attracts people not just from Goa, but from all over India as well. Last year’s event saw sponsorship from some of the best Goan and national brands. Visitors expected at the expo include professionals associated with the marine and boat industry, tourists interested in boating, management of seven-star deluxe and five-star resorts as well as high-end and budget hotels, boat charter operators and agents, heads of Goa government departments and state port and maritime authorities, media professionals connected with the maritime industry and high net-worth individuals from Goa and other parts of the country.
