The off-season is the perfect time to restore, fix and spruce up your boat, to have it in pristine condition when the season re-opens. And to learn about the best ways to do this, you had to be present at the International Yacht Paint Seminar held on JulyJuly, 7, 2010 at the Royal Bombay Yacht Club (RBYC). The seminar organized by West Coast Marine Yacht Services has become an annual event on India’s yachting calendar and adds value to users of International Yacht Paint’s vast and renowned range of products.
This was the third consecutive year of the seminar. The presentation by Mr. Alan Koh covered a series of topics like Scheme & Types of Products for Underwater Hull, Underwater Hull Surface Preparation, Antifouling, Paint Failures, Hands-on Primer and Antifouling Paint Application and most importantly – Health, Safety and Environment care while using these products.
The highlight of the seminar this year was the practical demonstration of anti-fouling application on a boat’s hull in three stages;
